ABOUT ME
I am a Consultant Psychologist and Research Mentor. I have 17+ years' experience in treating depression, anxiety, and stress. I am certified in specialized trauma interventions namely Psychological First Aid (PFA) and Skills for Psychological Recovery (SPR). I specialize in designing and implementing psychological interventions for health care workers, including doctors and nurses. I also provide psychotherapy to individuals and groups in families and educational institutions, and clinical supervision to counselors. Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) is crucial so that healthcare workers can best care for patients. It gives me joy to offer my services to healthcare workers so that they are in an optimal frame of mind and given everything they need, with optimal functioning to deliver the highest level of care. I also have experience working with People with Disabilities and other Special Needs (PWDSN) and got a global award at the American Psychological Association 2018 Convention on a study titled Barriers to Mental Health for Deaf Adults in Kenya. I am a TED talk speaker on Humor for Resilience.
