Journal Club Peer Mentorship session on APA STYLE 7th Edition by David Nene & Wangari Ngugi
Thursday 21st January 2021, 3:00pm to 4:00pm EAT (Nairobi, GMT+3)
Hello! We are moving to the APA 7th edition, so what's new?
Before you begin to muse over the difference between "narrative and parenthetical in-text citations", and what the term "et al." means, join in the collective self-discovery, it's much more fun!
Whether you're a student or professional author, please invite guests to this highly practical, FREE session on APA Style 7th Edition via Zoom.
For this session, you will need the following;
1) Your preferred MsWord manuscript with your document of choice opened on a separate tab. Note all your questions on formatting & style.
2) The sample paper provided by the official APA website, opened in a different tab: https://apastyle.apa.org/style-grammar-guidelines/paper-format/sample-papers
3) Be ready for a live, step-by-step demonstration on how to create/update an automated table of contents/list of tables/list of figures, and automated level headings.
4) Bring your full attention as we will be transitioning to the APA 7th edition, published in October 2019. The official APA Style website provides the new guidelines free for all. When will you make the move? Utahama lini?
